Personal growth and travel to India
A passage to India
16th of January to 5th of February 2012
With Ulrich Freitag
India is not only a country but also the symbol for spirituality and meditation. This journey is an invitation to explore more deeply the space and joy of meditation.
The beginning of our journey brings us to Goa, this vibrant place at the sea where ‘the world’ meets, -a true meting pot of cultures: there is music, meditation, creativity, the shawls sellers, incents and many other interesting things.., The hospitality of the native people, the wonderful beaches, the sunset at the ocean and helps us to arrive in India.
The program of these first days: meditations, sacred chants, yoga and qigong exercises, -and lots of spare time to feel at ease and to enjoy all these new experiences. Later on we will do some excursions to discover more the people and the country. Some shorter workshops will also be part of our journey.
The second part of our journey will be in Poona and at the Osho Meditation Resort a true vortex of energy also named ‘Buddhafield’, where everybody is dedicated to meditation and his proper personal development. In this exquisite environment will have the chance to explore different meditations as Vipassana, Whirling and Dynamic... just to connect more and more to what is already present in us, and this is a refreshing space of joy which comes from meditation.
This ‘Passage to India ’ helps people also to travel alone or in a small group in India , for example to end the journey with a visit in the vibrant city of Mumbai , Formerly Bombay. Max.14 people for this journey.
The Himalayan Experience 2012
April 17 to May 8
With Ulrich Freitag and Odette Magnan
This 3 week journey brings us to the Himalayan province of Uttarakhand also called Kumaon, the Pindari glacier and the people of the Kathi village.
After arriving in Dehli we will drive into the Kumaon mountains where Lord Shiva reigns. We stop in Almora and the holy city of Bageshwar , which lays at the confluence of the Saryu and Gompti River . This is still ‘old India ’ with its temples, rituals, incense, cows and small busy bazaar streets.
Then we embark on a very beautiful and light trek up to 3500m*- through wonderful Rhododendron- and Pine forests, coming closer and closer to the Himalayan peaks, the Pindari glacier and views on the Nanda Devi, Indias highest mountain.
On the way we meet the people of the Kathi village. They do not have yet electricity in their homes but lots of electricity in their hearts! We experience their lives and their spirituality, - religion, shamanism, healing, family, friendship and community matters are all naturally interwoven. It is a deeply touching experience where we all can learn from. We are invited to celebrate with the people one of their holy feasts.
On our way back we stay for two days in India ’s first and foremost national park -the Corbett National park- to watch its rich wildlife before we return to Dehli. Part of the journey is a daily meditation. This creates the basis for a truly different way of travelling and living together.
*Please note that you do not need to be an extraordinary hiker for this trek. If you have difficulty walking you also can do the trek or parts of it on horseback. You also can stay a few days longer in the wonderful natural environment near the Kathi village and do this way just part of the trekking.
Register early, max. 12 people, 20% off for the first 5 registrants

Some testimonies of participants from the journeys
One says sometimes that dreams are more beautiful than the reality, but, concerning my travel to India the reality went beyond the most beautiful of my dreams. One has to say that for the first two weeks we had the privilege to be guided by Ulrich, an experienced and solid guide. The presence of the guide helped me to discover in security the customs of the native people and to learn about the daily life of the Indians. I particularly appreciated the depth of our daily group meditations as well as the activities which were chosen by our guide.
The discovery of the Osho meditation resort in Poona was for me a very intense part of the journey and I think of it still with lots of emotions. The organisation and the guidance during these two weeks allowed me to develop enough autonomy to feel at ease to extend my journey for three other weeks and to taste the pleasuresof being in India.
Odette Magnan, Nurse and teacher
This travel to India allowed me to be initiated in different meditation techniques, to get in contact with my heart and to develop more consciousness... Particularly I appreciated the guided meditations, the proposed tours, while still having time off during the day. Our host In the place where we stayed in Goa was fantastic, the food was excellent and the sea was exquisite. I maintain a very positive memory of this journey.
Veronique Bibor, Social worker and yoga teacher
Ulrich, our guide is very attentive to the needs of the group and each individual. His love for India is contagious and his practical knowledge is very reassuring. He helped us to taste, see and feel India by sharing his, passion for the country.... He has mastered the art of teaching meditation. With the help of clear guidance and inspiring images, he allowed us to experiment many different ways to get into the space of meditation. In Poona, at the Osho meditation resort, -in this oasis of beauty, where everything is is centred around a deep appreciation of ourselves and the sacredness of life,- magic was waiting for us. The program of activities (meditations, workshops, dance etc.) is of rare quality and allows everybody to confront themselves with their own challenges. It is truly a place of healing, expression and celebration that touched me profoundly! It was a wonderful journey to the end of the world and oneself.
